Paper Beads!

We all LOVE jewelry, but it can be quiet hard to find the right style for you or it might be to expensive, either way I have a solution................ Paper Beads They are perfect for using up scraps of paper and are eco friendly here's how to make them:

You Will Need:
~Some old scraps of colourful paper or gift wrap
~clean plastic drinking straws
~some string
~scissors
~glue stick

1.Cut your scraps of gift wrap into lots of long triangle shapes
the longer your triangles the fatter your beads will be.
2.Turn on of the triangles pattern side down on a flat surface and apply a thin layer of glue to the short edge.

3.Lay the end of a drinking straw along the gluey edge of the triangle and press it down gently so it sticks.

4.Roll the paper triangle around the straw, until you reach the tip.Apply a little glue to the tip of the paper and gently stick it down.

5.snip the bead off the drinking straws with your scissors.

6.repeat steps until you have lots of beautiful beads.

7.thread your beads on to the string, and their you go!!! You can also make key rings, necklaces etc....
