Photographer!!!

Q. Why did you choose photography as a career?

Rosie: It's something I got through my Dad and Mum. Tim does all the photos for vineyard [we live at] and Jude is so creative so they both got me into it. But I guess I chose it after taking it at school and fell in love with fashion and freezing a moment!

Q. What's the best part about it?

Rosie: The people. Working on shots with makeup artists, hair stylists, designers etc. So many creative people to be around! And of places like fashion week the amount of creativity is amazing!

Q. If you weren't a fashion photographer than what would you be?

Rosie: Probably doing another form of design. Maybe fashion or advertising or fashion styling?!?!

Q. What's one of your hobbies completely unrelated to photography?

Rosie: SCUBA DIVING!!!! I recently passed my Dive Masters WOPAD!! So I can work professionally in the industry!

Q. Fave Sandwich filling?

Rosie: Last nights roast chicken with pumpkin; spinach and heaps of mango!

Q. What's the best way to get into the photography industry?

Rosie: People. Meet someone who likes what you do & mentors you. It's priceless education learning on the job.

Q. Do you ABSOLUTELY have to go to college for this career choice?

Rosie: No way! Like I said if you know someone who wants to teach you - take it. listen and learn!

Q. And <3ly advice for the readers?!?

Rosie: Do what you want to do. It was priceless advice given to me when I chose art school and wondered if I should be studying something more serious. But by studying what you love or even just doing what you love, college or not you will succeed!!
